Day 1: Don’t miss this theatrical presentation and first-person rendition of the late Garvan Woodland Garden founder. Mrs. Garvan’s colorful biography and lifetime of rich experience and determination, which led to the garden’s creation, is a true inspiration and awesome entertainment.
Day 2: The group will meet at the Gardens for a guided morning tour of the fall foliage and late autumn blooms. We will travel as a group to Entergy Park for a picnic in the pavilion overlooking Lake Hamilton. The group will return to the gardens for an afternoon of ‘un-guided’ exploration. Individuals can sight-see at their own pace and visit the majestic Asian rock and stream garden with 12-foot waterfall, the Weyerhaeuser Bonsai Garden, Model Train Garden, open-air redwood and sandstone Garvan Pavilion, stately Sunrise Bridge, picturesque Full Moon Bridge, and dramatic Canopy Bridge.
