Suzie spends her time creating modern jewelry using beads that she has collected such as Italian glass beads used in trading with Africa, beads made from volcano rock from Greece, bone and bamboo from Indonesia, lapis and coral from Afghanistan, Russian amber, and silver from Thailand.
If you have always loved jewelry, this is your chance to learn the basic techniques of beading. Once you know this, you will be able to make earrings, bracelets and necklaces in styles and colors for your wardrobe. It is easy to be creative with so many kinds of beads to work with, but a word of caution – you will not be the first to get hooked on beading! (Cost includes the cost of materials & lunch.)
