March 13, 2020
Dear OLLI Community,
Due to the evolving situation with COVID-19, the University of Arkansas has suspended all in-person programs and will be moving courses to an online format beginning March 16 and continuing through the remainder of the semester. As a result, and in conjunction with the College of Education and Health Professions, OLLI at U of A is announcing the suspension of all Osher Lifelong Learning Institute classes and activities through May 1.
PLEASE NOTE: Classes are currently suspended, not canceled. We are working diligently to determine the viability of implementing an online version of several classes and/or the possibility of rescheduling to a date later in our semester.
This decision aligns with recommendations from the College of Education and Health Professions, the U of A, local, state, and federal officials.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but as you know this is a quickly developing situation. We will continue to keep you informed and updated in the weeks ahead. As always, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Thank you for your understanding as we navigate this situation.
Sincerely,
Josh Raney
Director
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
