Josh Raney is a native Arkansan and has lived in Fayetteville since enrolling at the University in 1999. He earned a bachelor of science, business administration, in marketing (2003) and master of education in human resource development (2008). He enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and son Hayes. He is an avid outdoorsman and spends much of his free time canoeing, camping, hiking, biking and fishing. Josh shares his passion for the outdoors by leading hikes for seasoned adults through OLLI. In addition to the outdoors, Josh enjoys listening to music, especially live concerts, and has a passion for photography. He has had photographs published in the Capture Arkansas 2010 & 2013 picture books and in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute course catalogs (2017 & 2018).
Sandra Sawyer, a native North Carolinian, moved to Arkansas in 2007 with her husband, Barry, son Barry and daughter Mycayla. She began with the University as an administrative specialist II in 2008 and now is assistant director for OLLI. Her background encompasses customer service, office management, technical writing and other clerical/administrative experience. In the fall of 2011 she was chosen as the Employee of the Year in the Clerical Division/Category II at the University. While working full time, Sandra began her college education in 2012 and has completed a total of 78 credit hours with a grade point average of 3.60. In between school, family and work, she loves to read and walk. She coaches the seventh-grade dance team at Farmington, serves as president of the PeeWee spirit board and actively serves in the Farmington Kiwanis and on the Farmington Public Library Friends board.
