Welcome! Watch our short video invitation to teach a class at OLLI.

Teaching for OLLI is an experience like no other. Classes and activities provide the ideal learning environment. For more information about what to expect and consider before, during and after teaching a course for OLLI view our short Slide Presentation about Teaching for OLLI.

The process for proposing a course is simple and easy. Simply use our online Course Proposal form to submit all the details of your proposed course. Before you officially submit a course proposal, take a look at our Sample Course Proposal With Guidance (PDF). This is a completed form, annotated with tips regarding specificity, clarity, and needed information for each item to help guide you through completing the form.

Instructional Quality Standards: These are the strategies and concepts we believe will ensure your class is engaging, accessible and well received.

Participant Evaluation Form: OLLI participants are given the opportunity to provide feedback on courses that they take. This provides our curriculum committee and instructors with valuable information to help ensure that programs being offered are of high quality. Here we have linked a blank evaluation form to show the evaluation domains the participants will be asked to address regarding their course/presentation: Sample Course Evaluation Form.

Additionally, we invite instructors to complete a brief Instructor Feedback Survey to comment on your experience based on the Instructional Quality Standards above. Information submitted by instructors is used by the staff and Curriculum Committee to enhance the experience for future instructors.
