Josh Raney is a native Arkansan and has lived in Fayetteville since enrolling at the University in 1999. He earned a bachelor of science, business administration, in marketing (2003) and master of education in human resource development (2008). In his role Josh oversees all operations of the institute and works closely with leadership of the College of Education and Health Professions, In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and two sons Hayes and Pruitt. He is an avid outdoorsman and spends much of his free time canoeing, camping, hiking, biking and fishing. Josh shares his passion for the outdoors by volunteering to lead hikes for seasoned adults through OLLI. Other hobbies include listening to live music and photography. He has had photographs published in the Capture Arkansas 2010 & 2013 picture books and in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute course catalogs (2017 & 2018).

Sandra Sawyer, a native North Carolinian, moved to Arkansas in 2007 with her family. She began with the University as an administrative specialist II in 2008 and now is assistant director for OLLI. Her background encompasses customer service, office management, technical writing, and other clerical/administrative experience. In the fall of 2011, she was chosen as the Employee of the Year in the Clerical Division/Category II at the University. While working full time, Sandra began her college education in 2012 and in May 2022, earned her Interdisciplinary Studies degree in fields of Social Work, Journalism and Communications. In her spare time, she volunteers as an Outreach Manager / Producer for the podcast, The Modern Romantic, where she secures guests for the weekly chat sessions. When not working at OLLI or for the podcast, she enjoys spending time with her children (son, Barry and his wife, Rachel, and her daughter, Mycayla) and fur-grandbaby, Maggie, along with reading, walking, and watching movies. Recently, her daughter gifted her with a new fur-baby of her own which she named Griffin. He has quickly stolen her heart and keeps her life chaotic and fun!
