Join OLLI members and guest at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks to learn the history of the garden and participate in a scavenger hunt for prizes! This is the first of OLLI’s new social activity, Anything Can Happen Monday’s, to be held the first Monday of each month. The basis of this program is to announce a new, unique, activity that OLLI members and guest can participate in for fun and socializing.
In October, the event will be held on the second Monday, Oct. 9th from 2pm – 4pm. Participants will receive free admission to the Garden and will compete in a scavenger hunt for prizes such as OLLI swag and discount coupons for an OLLI class! At the start of the hunt, the Garden staff will give a brief talk on the history of the Garden, future expansion, what a membership provides and events. Then groups of 2-4 will be given a list of items to find at the garden. The participants will have 1 hour to find all of the items and the winner will be awarded prizes. Future events will be announced and posted both here on the OLLI news blog and on Facebook.
An RSVP would be greatly appreciated so that volunteers can make the appropriate arrangements. To sign up click here.
