J.B. Hogan, Ph.D., writer, historian, roots musician and baseball statistician, will talk on the topic of “Realism in Fiction.” J.B. has authored works such as Angels in the Ozarks: Professional Baseball in Fayetteville and the Arkansas State / Arkansas-Missouri League 1934-1940 and The Apostate and Other Stories of the Contemporary Southwest. He has published over 250 stories and poems in magazines, anthologies, and on websites worldwide. J.B. is currently working on producing an illustrated history of the Fayetteville square, coming out in a few weeks.
